I have designed and built a number of kitchens,
adapting the layout to accommodate the client's needs and the
available space. All units are made from scratch in solid wood,
then spray-painted to give a high-quality wipe-free finish.
Work surfaces can be made in locally sourced
wood - typically oak or elm - or granite (contracted out) .
Kitchen 1
Units in pine - clear lacquered finish inside; spray-painted
exterior. 'Shaker style' doors fitted with traditional butt hinges
and satin nickel door pulls and cup handles.
Main kitchen run finished with a granite worktop with undermount
sink and granite splashback. Island unit and entrance unit have
a work surface made from local scottish oak.
Units comprise:
- built-in larder unit, incorporating spice rack,
bread bin, storage drawers and shelving;
- wicker basket storage for fresh fruit and vegetables;
- 'magic corner' to maximise use of space in the
corner
- glass-fronted wall units
- built-in dishwasher;
- island-unit, incorporating deep pan drawers and
open shelving for microwave.
Kitchen 2
