Having graduated from Cambridge, I spent about 10 years travelling and working in various areas before deciding to wave goodbye to the world of offices and technology and follow my passion – wood and woodworking.
I worked as an apprentice for a furniture maker in Fife before moving to traditional boatbuilding, helping to recreate a classic Bristol Channel pilot cutter – the Mischief – as well as building traditional Cornish gigs.
In 2007 I returned to Scotland with my fiancee, Kat, to open my own woodworking business based just north of Glasgow in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
Since becoming a full-time woodworker I have been involved in designing and making a wide range of furniture. Please feel free to visit the Portfolio pages on the site to see a examples of my work – hopefully there is plenty there to give you a bit of inspiration for forthcoming projects!
